Frequently Asked Questions How is payroll information reported? You have several options to choose from:
Is direct deposit of employee paychecks expensive? No, there is no extra charge for direct deposit services. You may choose printed checks, direct deposit, or a combination of the two services. What are Tax Payment services? Your payroll account is drafted each pay period for all employment taxes. The Payroll Professional submits federal, state and local tax deposits and filings on your behalf. Our Guaranteed Service ensures accurate and timely filing, or we will pay the resulting tax penalty. How do we receive our checks and reports? Generally, you receive your documents via courier service. If this does not work for you, we will make other arrangements. (i.e.…US Mail or Federal Express). You can also receive checks and reports through e-mail in PDF file format. What if we misplace reports or an employee misplaces their check? There is no need to worry. Simply call us and we will replace what you need. There are no additional or hidden fees. We understand that life happens and are happy to assist you as needed. What if our checks do not arrive or there is a mistake? Call us immediately and we will solve the problem. You will know there is someone on top of the situation. How easy is it to switch? Your payroll service can continue uninterrupted. A tentative first payroll date will be set. We suggest a two to four-week set up time, to gather your employee and payroll information. You will be provided with a Payroll Setup Guide. A payroll tax specialist will walk you through the process to ensure a seamless transition. After all forms are completed, your first payroll date will be confirmed. (If you are using the Tax Payment service and/or direct deposits, pre-notes will be sent one week before the first payday.) |
